Our philosophy has been that every individual with this disease and their advocates deserve the best. We believe that this has been achieved through fostering and disseminating good evidence based science that leads to better medicine and best practice. In this way, we attempt to fulfil our goal to support oncology professionals, without any cost, involved in the delivery of most effective treatment with high quality care which these unfortunate women deserve. Our activity helps to bring key oncology stakeholders come together to update their knowledge, exchange ideas, develop network and forge strategic partnerships to address the critical issues related to the oncology profession.
North of England Oncology Association came in to existence with its first annual breast cancer symposium in 2009. With its base in Hull, our focus has been to promote knowledge of prevention, early diagnosis, multidisciplinary management and support to professionals and other stake holders faced with this dreadful disease.
